Zaylee Arrington Awarded $1,000 Scholarship as Coca-Cola Leader

Southern State Community College student Zaylee Arrington from Highland County has been awarded a $1,000 scholarship as a 2026 Coca-Cola Leaders of Promise Scholar.

Arrington aims to complete her Associate of Arts degree concurrently with her high school graduation before continuing her studies in psychology and neurology, with plans to potentially pursue brain and mental health research.

'The most important thing in building your success is knowing who you truly are, with or without that success,' Arrington said, encouraging fellow students to avoid burnout and maintain patience with themselves.
