Zillow Sued Over Microsoft Browser Tracking Software Dismissed
A Washington federal judge has dismissed a proposed class action against Zillow for allegedly using Microsoft's browser tracking software to share users' website activity with third parties.
The lawsuit claimed that Zillow used Microsoft Session Replay technology, which records and shares user interactions on websites, without informing them of the data collection.
However, according to the court order, the plaintiffs added two new claims to their lawsuit in violation of a prior court order, prompting the judge to dismiss the case.
