$13 Billion Contract Drives Qatar LNG Production Boost

QatarEnergy has restarted work on its massive NFE gas megaproject. The project's $13 billion contract, awarded to Chiyoda and Technip Energies, aims to boost Qatar's liquefied natural gas (LNG) production capacity to 110 million tonnes per annum.

Koji Ota, CEO of Chiyoda, was photographed overseeing the work on the megaproject. The restart of work is expected to increase Qatar's LNG production significantly.
