Abundance Gold ETF Trust reported a significant decline in its financial performance for the quarter ended June 30, 2026. The company's net income from operations showed a loss of $989.2 million in Q2 2026, compared to income of $255.3 million in the year-ago quarter.

This decline was primarily driven by a sharp drop in the price of gold, which pulled the Net Asset Value (NAV) per share down to $38.34 as of June 30, 2026. The NAV fell 14.28% in Q2, largely reflecting a 12.64% drop in the gold price.

The company also experienced net redemptions totaling 3.3 million shares in Q2, with a total of 2.7 million shares redeemed year-to-date. Additionally, the sponsor's fee paid in-kind was equivalent to a 0.17% annualized charge, reducing investor returns.
