AD Ports Group has finalized its acquisition of Corredor Logistica e Infraestrutura (CLI) for $835 million. The deal was first announced on June 2 and involves CLI's two agri-bulk export terminals in Brazil, which handle sugar, corn, and soybeans exports.

The acquisition marks AD Ports Group's first strategic entry into South America and its largest to date. Mohammed Al Tamimi, CEO of Noatum Ports at AD Ports Group, said the deal strengthens their presence in a major agricultural export market and provides new global reach and capabilities.

CLI has delivered strong growth and built a competitive position in Brazil's port and logistics market, according to Fernando Lohmann, Head of Macquarie Asset Management in Brazil. He added that AD Ports Group is well-positioned to build on CLI's platform and support its next phase of development.
