Adani Group Brings Piped Natural Gas to Jalandhar Industrial Areas
Several industrial areas in and around Jalandhar are set to benefit from a new piped natural gas (PNG) network, courtesy of the Adani Group. The pipeline will connect industrial units in Focal Point, Gadaipur, Randhawa Masanda, Raipur, Balla, and Industrial Zone North.
The development is expected to provide firms with a more convenient and uninterrupted gas supply. At a recent meeting at the Focal Point Extension Association office, senior Adani Gas officials discussed the project's details with association president Narinder Singh Sagoo and representatives of industrial units.
During the meeting, the Adani Group’s survey team shared information on gas requirements, potential connections, and pipeline network expansion plans. Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) have been signed with units interested in taking PNG connections.
The next joint meeting between the Focal Point Extension Association and the United Forum of Industry and Traders will be held soon, where senior Adani Group officials are expected to present project details, including the gas supply system and pipeline network plans.
