Adnoc has strengthened its foothold in Asia by signing a new gas deal with a major Thai energy player. This move aligns with the company's broader strategy to expand its presence in the region. In July, Adnoc launched an integrated LNG marketing and trading platform, aiming to build a 47 million tpa combined marketable LNG portfolio by 2035.

The agreement was announced during the ADIPEC conference in Abu Dhabi on 3 November 2025. The deal underscores Adnoc's commitment to growing its LNG business beyond the Middle East, with a particular focus on South Asia.

Adnoc Gas, a subsidiary of Adnoc, is playing a key role in this expansion. The company's efforts to diversify its customer base and enhance its trading capabilities are central to its long-term growth plans.

This development comes as Adnoc continues to position itself as a leading player in the global LNG market, leveraging strategic partnerships to meet rising demand in Asia.
