Aramco Profits Surge Despite Hormuz Crisis Disruptions
Saudi oil giant Aramco reported a significant increase in profits for the second quarter of this year, despite disruptions to global energy markets caused by the Hormuz crisis.
The company's net profit rose by 44% to $32.69 billion during the three months ended June 30, compared to $22.67 billion a year earlier.
Aramco's CEO, Amin Nasser, attributed the success to the company's ability to maintain business continuity through its diverse asset base and multi-decade planning.
