Saudi Aramco is on the hunt for thousands of tons of diesel in the Mediterranean after a series of attacks on its energy facilities.
The oil giant has been bidding for diesel cargoes through Platts, a unit of S&P Global, over several weeks, according to brokers monitoring the activity.
Aramco is also looking for gasoline in Europe, traders active in the market said.
