Armenia's PM Denies Gas Price Hike Indication from Russia

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan recently addressed concerns about gas price hikes from Russia. During a briefing, he stated that there is no indication of an increase in natural gas prices imported from Russia.

The Prime Minister acknowledged that the government regularly discusses potential scenarios related to changes in the situation, but emphasized that they currently have no such indication.

Pashinyan noted that this has been a recurring issue for him since 2018, as questions about potential price hikes are constantly raised. He assured that when there is a signal or situation that warrants consideration, the government will take action.
