Asian Markets Rebound as Wall Street and Oil Prices Rise
The Asian markets experienced a mixed start to the week, as shares rose in several key regions. Japan's benchmark Nikkei 225 gained 0.8% in early trading to 64,662.11, while South Korea's Kospi jumped 2.1% to 6,856.35.
The rise came on the back of a strong performance from Wall Street, where stocks surged following a rally after declining oil prices and easing pressure from the bond market.
The price for a barrel of Brent crude oil slid from nearly $110 it reached earlier in the week to $104.11, down 0.68% in Asian trading. The decline helped pull yields lower in the bond market and removed some pressure on stocks.
