ASX Critical-Minerals Stocks Surge: Aeris, Chrysos Lead the Pack

The Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) has seen a surge in critical-minerals stocks, with 12 companies standing out as potential leaders. These companies are focused on lithium, copper, rare earths, uranium, gold, and other key commodities.

Commodity prices, resource conversion, commissioning, and capital requirements are all major concerns for these companies. Funding and government support can assist development, but construction or commercialization risk remains a significant issue.

Aeris Resources (ASX:AIS) is an established copper and gold producer operating Tritton and Cracow. Chrysos Corporation (ASX:C79) offers commercial mining-technology exposure through its PhotonAssay units and associated services.

Core Lithium (ASX:CXO) is considering a restart of the Finniss operation after open-pit mining moved to care and maintenance. Alpha HPA (ASX:A4N) is transitioning from Stage One activity towards a larger commercial high-purity alumina operation in Queensland.
