Azerbaijan's Oil Production Drops to 30-Year Low

Azerbaijan's oil production has seen significant fluctuations over the years. According to data from the State Statistics Committee, the country produced 17.6 million tons of oil, including condensate, in the first eight months of 2026. This is a decrease from previous years, with production levels ranging from 44.5 million tons in 2008 to 27.7 million tons in 2025.

The current production level is 30.1 million tons as of 2023 and 29 million tons in 2024. It's worth noting that oil prices have varied significantly this year, ranging from $65.71 per barrel in January to $97.61 in September.
