BAJUS Raises Gold Prices Again, 22-Carat Now Tk 232,930
The Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) has raised gold prices for the second time in two days, increasing the price of 22-carat gold by Tk 1,050 per bhori to Tk 2,32,930, including VAT.
The revised prices came into effect at 10:00 am on Saturday following a notification issued by BAJUS. The association said the latest adjustment was made in line with changes in the local market price of refined gold.
The new rates show that 21-carat gold is priced at Tk 2,22,490 per bhori, while 18-carat gold costs Tk 1,91,056 per bhori. Gold produced through the traditional method is priced at Tk 1,56,064 per bhori.
