Bangladesh Gold Price Hiked Again by Tk 1,633

The Bangladesh Jewellers Association (Bajus) has increased the price of gold in the domestic market for the 108th time this year, hiking the rate by Tk 1,633 per bhori for 22-carat gold.

The new price of 22-carat gold, including VAT, is now Tk 2,47,743 per bhori (11.664 grams), effective from 10am on Tuesday.

This move comes after the association last adjusted gold prices on August 22, when the rate of 22-carat gold was increased by Tk 5,482 per bhori to Tk 2,46,110, including VAT.
