The gold price in Bangladesh has been increased for the second time this month. The move was made to adjust the prices according to market conditions. According to a report, the price of gold per bhori (11.66 grams) has been increased by Tk 5,300.

This is the second hike in gold prices in just over two weeks. The previous hike saw an increase of Tk 1,000. The current price of gold stands at Tk 89,400 per bhori. The new rate will be effective from today and customers can purchase gold at this revised price from authorized dealers.

The Bangladeshi taka (Tk) is the official currency of Bangladesh. The increase in gold prices has been made as a result of market forces and not due to any government intervention, according to reports. However, no specific reason was given for the sudden hike in gold prices.
