Bangladesh Gold Prices Plummet by Tk 2,216 per Bhori

Gold prices in Bangladesh have fallen by Tk 2,216 per bhori (11.664 grams) on Sunday, with the price of 22-carat gold jewellery now set at Tk 235,146 per bhori, including VAT.

The new price came into effect at 10:00 am, according to the Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS).

This decrease in price is attributed to a drop in refined gold prices in the local market, as stated by BAJUS. The association's Standing Committee on Pricing and Price Monitoring made the decision during a meeting.
