Formentera Partners and its joint venture partner Tamboran Resources have achieved a major milestone in Australia's Beetaloo Basin. The Shenandoah South Pilot Project, operated by Daly Waters Energy (DWE), has begun selling natural gas into the market for the first time. This marks the initial sale of gas from the Beetaloo Basin.

The gas will be supplied to the Northern Territory network and used in Darwin, the capital city. The Sturt Plateau Compression Facility (SPCF) is transporting the gas, which has a nameplate capacity of 48.5 million cubic feet per day. This is equivalent to 50 terajoules per day.

Bryan Sheffield, Managing Partner of Formentera Partners, commented on this achievement: 'For years, the industry has discussed the potential of the Beetaloo. Today, that potential has been turned into a steady supply of natural gas for Territorians.'
