Benue Revives Dormant Taraku Mills for Vegetable Oil Production

Taraku Mills Limited in Benue State has begun its first phase of test production, marking a significant step towards reviving the once-dormant industrial facility.

The Group Managing Director of the Benue Investment and Property Company Limited (BIPC), Dr Raymond Asemakaha, expressed appreciation to Governor Rev Fr Hyacinth Alia for his commitment to reviving moribund industries in the state.

Asemakaha stated that the administration is determined to take charge of dormant industries and restore them to productive use, saying 'We must take charge of moribund industries. We are ensuring that the dead balance sheet has come back to life.'
