Bosnia Diesel Prices Soar Amid Global Oil Price Hike

Fuel prices in Bosnia and Herzegovina are on the rise again, with experts warning of further increases as long as global oil prices continue to climb. Diesel prices have already reached 3.50 KM per liter, while gasoline sells for between 3.20 and 3.30 KM.

According to energy expert Almir Becarevic, diesel could reach as high as four KM per liter if the price of a barrel of oil reaches $110 to $120. This would be the highest level in several months. The current upward trend in oil prices is driven by tensions in the Middle East.

Becarevic also points out that the natural gas market has seen significant increases, with prices nearly tripling since February. This will likely have a ripple effect on European markets, including Bosnia and Herzegovina.
