Brazil's Corn Exports Lag Behind Seasonal Norms

Brazil's corn exports through the third week of September reached 3.24 million tonnes, according to Conab, citing data from the Ministry of Development, Industry, Trade and Services.

The daily average exported was 27.5 percent lower than in September 2025, which is typically a month with the largest export volume in the annual seasonal pattern.

Conab noted that the current volume shipped creates a gap in the total expected for the year, which could only be closed if exports recover in the coming months.
