Brent Crude Futures Soar as Middle East Supply Rebounds
Oil prices rose on Wednesday after falling in the previous session due to an increase in crude supply from the Middle East. The recovery led to a surge in Brent crude futures, which gained $1.14 or 1.11% to reach $103.73 a barrel.
The US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude also saw a rise of 34 cents or 0.38% to reach $89.72 per barrel. The monthly gains for Brent and WTI are significant, with Brent on track to increase by around 14%, its biggest climb since July.
The spread between the two benchmarks this month has expanded to its widest in four months. This development could have implications for market dynamics and future price movements.
