Brent Crude Surges Amid Middle East Supply Concerns
Brent crude oil prices have risen to $102.08 per barrel amid ongoing concerns over global supply disruptions. The international benchmark gained 1.7% in early trading on Tuesday, following a previous high of $104.90 during the previous session.
The Brent futures had settled at $100.34 per barrel before recovering to $102.08 by 09:33 GMT. This increase comes as market participants continue to monitor developments in the Middle East, where geopolitical tensions have heightened fears of further supply interruptions and increased volatility in global energy markets.
Supply concerns are supported by recent attacks on Saudi energy infrastructure, which have disrupted exports through the kingdom's Red Sea corridor. This has forced greater reliance on Gulf terminals and raised concerns over the security of regional oil shipments.
