Bunge and Associated British Ports (ABP) have achieved a milestone at their port partnership in Immingham, England. The two companies have handled over 1 million tonnes of grains and oilseeds through their storage and handling operations since the partnership began in 2022.

The collaboration started with the commissioning of Shed 35, a purpose-built agribulk storage facility at Immingham's Humber International Terminal. Following strong demand, Bunge and ABP expanded the operation with the development of Shed 36, increasing the site's total storage capacity to approximately 75,000 tonnes.

The partnership helps supply agricultural commodities to customers across the UK and connects local growers to global markets. James Maw, UK country manager for Bunge, said, 'The UK's agriculture sector depends on strong connections between producers, consumers, and international markets.'

ABP's Port of Immingham is the UK's largest port by volume of tonnage and is well placed to connect the UK with international trade routes.
