Canadian Grain Deliveries and Exports Ease in Week 6

Canadian grain handling activity slowed in the week ending September 13, 2026, according to the Canadian Grain Commission's Grain Statistics Weekly. Producer deliveries and exports both eased from the prior week.

The commission reported that licensed facilities handled 1,159.2 thousand tonnes of producer deliveries in Week 6 of the 2026-2027 crop year, down from 1,491.7 thousand tonnes a week earlier. Wheat accounted for the largest share of weekly deliveries at 424.5 thousand tonnes.

On a crop-year-to-date basis, producer deliveries stood at 7,120 thousand tonnes, compared with 7,462.4 thousand tonnes at the same point a year earlier. Exports from licensed facilities amounted to 816.9 thousand tonnes in the week, compared with 785.2 thousand tonnes a week earlier.
