Canola Climbs as U.S. Wheat Prices Plummet

Canola futures prices rose on Thursday as grain traders closed out their positions ahead of the weekend. Meanwhile, U.S. wheat prices plummeted due to excess supply in the market.

The Canadian Cattlemen reported that canola futures strengthened, while U.S. wheat was sharply lower and corn and soybeans made modest gains on August 6.

Adam Peleshaty from The Western Producer provided an update on the grain and oilseed market, highlighting the fluctuations in prices.
