Canola Futures Rebound as Oil Prices and Vegetable Oils Gain

Canola futures on the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) staged a strong recovery on Wednesday morning, making up for most of Tuesday's losses.

The rebound was fueled by an uptick in crude oil prices and a supportive trend in vegetable oils, with Chicago soyoil, European rapeseed, and Malaysian palm oil all trading higher.

The U.S. Energy Information Administration is expected to report a 600,000-barrel draw of crude oil stocks later on Wednesday morning, which could further boost oil prices.

The Canadian dollar also gained strength, rising by three-tenths of a U.S. cent compared to Tuesday's close after U.S. President Donald Trump delayed the implementation of 50% tariffs on some Canadian goods by three days, citing progress in negotiations.
