Cheniere Energy has expanded its liquefied natural gas (LNG) production capacity by completing the Corpus Christi Liquefaction Stage 3 Project. The project's seventh and final train was handed over to Cheniere on August 28, 2026.

The completion of CCL Stage 3 increases Cheniere's LNG production capacity by more than 20%, bringing total capacity to approximately 56 million tons per annum (mtpa). This additional capacity will allow the company to serve international LNG demand and capitalize on long-term supply agreements.

Cheniere highlighted that the project was delivered safely, on budget, and ahead of schedule. The company's track record in executing major LNG projects is a key competitive strength.
