Commodity Futures See Volatile Price Shifts at Chicago Board of Trade
The Chicago Board of Trade saw significant price movements in various commodity futures on September 25, 2026. Corn Futures for December were up by $1.25 to $5.28 and a half, while March corn was up by $0.50 at $5.42 and a quarter. Soybean Futures also experienced gains, with November prices increasing by $2.50 to $13.20 and January rising by $1 to $13.33.
Wheat Futures, however, took a hit, with December down by $3 at $7.04 and March down by $2.50 at $7.18 and a half. The Andersons at Blacks Lane reported the 2026 crop corn price up by $0.50 to $6.73/BU, while the 2027 crop corn was also up by $0.50 at $6.43/BU.
Snobelen Farms shared similar numbers for corn, with their 2026 crop corn price up by $0.50 to $6.68/BU and the 2027 crop corn up by $0.50 at $6.48/BU. The U-S CME price for dressed weight beef was down by $0.55 from the previous day, reaching $81.92 per hundredweight.
