Gold and silver prices in India have been volatile this month after a strong rally in August. On September 26, gold is trading largely steady, with benchmark 24 carat gold at around Rs 1,51,450 per 10 grams. Meanwhile, silver is also trading steadily, priced at around Rs 2,35,030 per kg.

According to the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold futures were down 0.12% at Rs 1,50,700 per 10 grams, while silver futures were up 0.65% at around Rs 2,35,000 per kg. The prices of gold and silver in India are influenced by international bullion prices, the USD/INR exchange rate, and domestic demand.

SEBI-registered market expert Anuj Gupta expects a positive outlook for both metals. He predicts that silver could reach Rs 3 lakh per kg over the next one year, while gold prices could touch Rs 1.65 lakh per 10 grams around Diwali.
