Commodity Markets See Mixed Results on Friday
Closing markets for Friday, October 2 saw significant fluctuations in various commodity futures. Corn Futures took a hit, with December's price down by 5 cents at $4.97 and March's price also down by 5 cents at $5.11.
Soybean Futures followed suit, with November's price down by 6 cents at $12.77 and January's price down by 7 cents at $12.93.
Wheat Futures showed a slight improvement, with December's price up by a quarter cent at $6.83, but March's price was down by a quarter cent at $6.96.
The Live Cattle Futures market also experienced declines, with October's price down by 35 cents at $218.95 and December's price down by 177 cents at $221.40. Feeder Cattle Futures followed suit, with October's price down by 460 cents at $334.27 and November's price down by 527 cents at $331.07.
