Energy major ConocoPhillips has signed a long-term liquefied natural gas (LNG) supply deal with Venture Global. According to reports, ConocoPhillips will provide 1 million tons of LNG to Venture Global starting in 2030.

The agreement comes as the energy sector continues to push for expanded LNG exposure following QatarEnergy's force majeure declaration. Despite geopolitical tensions affecting prices, demand prospects for LNG remain strong.

Venture Global's CEO Mike Sabel welcomed ConocoPhillips as a long-term partner, citing market confidence in the company's ability to deliver reliable and low-cost U.S. LNG quickly and at scale.
