Corn Balance Sheets Get Overhaul Amid Export and Import Shifts

A revision to US corn balance sheets was made this month, affecting the crop's outlook. The adjustment came in the form of increased exports and imports, partially offsetting each other.

The bump in old crop exports was substantial, reaching 25 million bushels. This increase was partly mitigated by a relatively minor boost in imports, which rose by 2 million bushels.
