Corn Futures Fall as Soybeans Surge Amid September Market Shifts

The Chicago Board of Trade reported on September 3, 2026, that corn futures saw significant changes in price. December corn futures dropped by 4 cents to $5.39 per bushel, while March corn futures also fell by 4 cents to $5.54 per bushel.

In contrast, soybean futures rose sharply. November soybeans increased by 4 cents to $13.14 per bushel, and January soybeans climbed by 5 cents to $13.30 per bushel.

The Wheat Futures market also saw fluctuations. December wheat fell by 21 cents to $7.52 per bushel, while March wheat dropped by 22 cents to $7.68 per bushel.
