Corn Prices Poised for Significant Gains as Fundamentals Reach Decade-High

Commodity analyst Mike Zuzolo says corn fundamentals are at their strongest since the 2012 drought. Global supplies of corn have tightened, while demand remains strong.

The U.S. has its tightest ending stocks in years, with similar conditions reported in France and Ukraine due to dry weather.

Strong biofuel demand and concerns over South America's production also contribute to the positive outlook for corn prices.

Zuzolo believes that if Ukraine remains dry, December corn prices could reach around $5.35 to $5.50, but this would require support from other markets such as beans and wheat.

Marketing decisions will be just as important as production numbers in the coming harvest season, Zuzolo advises, suggesting that producers consider taking on paper positions to cover themselves against potential price fluctuations.
