Crude Oil Price Rises, Gasoline Falls on September 2

The latest oil price data for September 2, 2026, shows a mixed trend in the US market. Crude oil prices are up by $0.79 at 91.01 per barrel. In contrast, gasoline prices have decreased slightly to $3.1038 per gallon.

Natural gas is also experiencing an increase of $0.052, reaching $2.956 per unit. The Nymex MTD AVG for crude oil stands at $90.6150.

The Plains WTI posting has seen a similar rise to crude oil prices, with an increase of $0.79 to 87.49 per barrel. Meanwhile, the spreads between October/November and November/December contracts are widening, with a difference of +2.73 and +3.03 respectively.
