Crude Oil Prices Reversal: Buyers Defend 89-90 Demand Zone Amid Consolidation
WTI Crude Oil (USOIL) prices built a strong bullish structure from the 80-82 demand area, forming Higher Highs and Higher Lows.
The BOS (Break of Structure) confirmed that bullish momentum was developing as buyers repeatedly defended pullbacks and pushed price toward new highs.
However, when price reached the 104-106 region, candle bodies became less consistent and price started moving sideways, indicating a need to consolidate after a strong expansion.
Price eventually pushed toward 106-108, where it was rejected and sellers became more active. This area is considered a major supply/rejection zone.
The CHoCH (Change of Character) occurred after rejection from the upper area, marking a shift in candle behavior from Higher Highs + Higher Lows to Lower Highs + Lower Lows, indicating weakening bullish momentum.
