Crude Oil Slips Below $100 Per Barrel, But Fuel Prices Remain Unchanged

The global crude oil market has seen some relief as Brent crude prices have fallen below $100 per barrel. According to recent data, Brent crude dropped 2.6% to $99.65 a barrel for December delivery, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude fell 4% to $89.11 a barrel.

The drop in crude prices has eased some pressure on the global oil market. However, Indian motorists have another reason to keep an eye on fuel prices as domestic petrol and diesel rates remain unchanged for now.

Petrol and diesel prices in major cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, and Bengaluru are stable at Rs 102.12 per litre and Rs 95.20 per litre respectively. However, crude oil prices are being closely watched as further volatility could impact oil marketing companies and eventually affect domestic fuel prices.
