CU Discounts Beer and Snacks Ahead of Asian Games
Convenience store CU is offering discounts on over 70 items ahead of the Asian Games in South Korea. The promotion, which starts on the 15th and runs until the end of the month, targets demand for food and drinks during sports events.
The discounted items include a six-pack of 500㎖ Tsingtao and Asahi Style Free beer for 12,000 won starting on the 10th. Whiskeys such as Jack Daniel's Apple and Nikka Frontier will be discounted up to 20%, and some wines are also included in the promotion.
Side dishes like grilled pollock and snacks like Caramel Corn Peanuts and O!ng seafood chips will be discounted up to 30%. CU is also offering small-portion fruit products at discounted prices, as well as health supplements with a promotion that takes 2,000 won off per item when buying multiple units.
A CU official said, 'We prepared a variety of discount events for customers cheering on the games ahead of the Asian Games.'
