Dalal Street Set to Ride Positivity Wave in RBI Week

The Indian stock market is expected to remain positive in the week starting August 3, driven by domestic and global factors.

The RBI's monetary policy decision will be a key event to watch, with most economists expecting the central bank to keep the repo rate unchanged at 5.25 percent.

Investors will also focus on US-Iran commentary, geopolitical tensions, movements in oil prices, and corporate earnings from companies such as Bharti Airtel, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation, Power Grid Corporation of India, Hero MotoCorp, Hindalco Industries, State Bank of India, and Titan Company.

The sharp decline in oil prices has helped alleviate inflationary concerns and improve market sentiment, leading to a 2.1 percent gain for the Nifty 50 last week.
