Ontario drivers of diesel-powered vehicles may want to wait until Saturday to fill up and get a better deal, as diesel prices are expected to come down over the coming days.

Dan McTeague, head of Canadians for Affordable Energy, anticipates that gasoline prices will go up by three cents per litre on Friday and then come down by a penny on Saturday.

However, despite oil prices rising, diesel prices are set to fall by seven cents per litre on Friday and another two cents on Saturday, making it the better option for drivers this week.
