Diesel Prices Take Center Stage as Refineries Hit Near-Capacity Levels
Tom Kloza, Founder and Chairman of Kloza Advisors, has emphasized that diesel prices are more critical to monitor than crude oil prices. In an interview on Bloomberg's 'Balance of Power,' Kloza highlighted that US refineries are operating at nearly full capacity, with utilization rates reaching 97% to 98%. This situation has led Kloza to caution against a potential diesel export ban, which he considers a drastic measure.
Kloza's comments come as the global energy landscape continues to evolve. His expertise in oil analysis underscores the importance of considering refineries' capacity and output when assessing market trends.
