Drone Strikes Disrupt Russia's Grain Exports Amid Escalating Tensions
A recent drone attack on Russia's Taman port has disrupted grain exports from the region. The terminal, managed by Demetra, was hit on Thursday, causing significant damage and halting shipping activities in the Sea of Azov and Kerch Strait.
The strike is part of a series of attacks that have been targeting Russian agricultural infrastructure and vessels in the Black Sea region since July 10. Ukraine, which has also been involved in these attacks, continues to target Russia's grain exports.
Russian exporters are diverting their grain shipments to deep-sea terminals in the Black Sea due to rising attacks on the Kerch Strait. This move is expected to further increase international wheat prices as concerns about stability in Black Sea supplies grow.
