Dubai Gold Prices Plummet Below Dh500 Per Gram Amid Market Correction

Gold prices in Dubai have dropped below Dh500 per gram for 22K gold, a move that some analysts see as a natural correction following a strong upward rally.

The price of 24K and 22K gold closed at Dh536.75 and Dh497 per gram respectively on Sunday, down from their peak hit on August 25.

Rania Gule, senior market analyst for Mena at xs.com, believes the current pullback is not a shift in the broader trend but rather a temporary pause before the uptrend resumes.

Gule notes that elevated inflation and uncertainty over economic growth have made the US Federal Reserve's task increasingly complicated, making it essential for policymakers to provide greater clarity on monetary policy.
