Dubai Gold Prices Steady Amid Inflation Fears and High Treasury Yields

Dubai's gold market has seen stable prices in recent days, despite ongoing inflation fears driven by lower oil prices. The prices of various types of gold in the UAE remained largely unchanged, with 24-karat gold priced at Dh501.25 and 22-karat gold at Dh464.25.

The stability in gold prices comes as treasury yields continue to attract attention from traders. The yield on the longest-dated US Treasury bond has climbed for a sixth straight session, reaching its highest level since 2002, which is putting pressure on bullion due to its lack of interest income.

Crude oil prices have also been impacted by the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, with Brent surging roughly 70 per cent this year. However, signs are emerging that supply has recovered to pre-war levels, aided by Saudi Arabia ramping up shipments through a key pipeline.
