Electric Two-Wheeler Sales Soar, Leaving OEMs Struggling to Meet Demand
India's electric two-wheeler sales have reached an all-time high in July, with a record-breaking penetration of 11.2% compared to 7.7% during the same month last year.
The surge in demand is largely attributed to global crude oil price fluctuations, which has led to a significant shift towards electric two-wheelers.
However, this increased demand has created an unexpected crisis for Indian original equipment manufacturers (OEMs), with a new peak in unfulfilled customer demand.
