Emirat and Al Fanar Gas Group have joined forces to expand natural gas infrastructure in the UAE, formalizing their partnership with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed during ADIPEC 2026 in Abu Dhabi. The collaboration brings together Emirat’s expertise in gas supply and commercial operations with Al Fanar Gas Group’s experience in developing and managing gas infrastructure.

Under the agreement, Emirat will identify potential opportunities and engage with customers to assess their gas needs, while Al Fanar Gas Group will focus on developing and operating the necessary infrastructure. The partnership covers natural gas and compressed natural gas (CNG) supply, central gas systems, transmission connections, and integrated solutions.

The collaboration aims to serve commercial customers and meet city gas requirements, offering a coordinated approach from project planning to long-term operations and maintenance. Nabeel Buti Bin Buti AlMheiri, Chief Natural Gas Business Officer at Emirat, emphasized the evolving energy needs of businesses and communities, highlighting how the partnership will enhance their capabilities in natural gas, CNG, and associated infrastructure solutions.

Khaled Ben Said, CEO of Al Fanar Gas Group, noted that the combined expertise of both companies will deliver safe, reliable, and efficient gas infrastructure.
