European Stocks Tumble Amid Middle East Tensions, Oil Prices Soar

European stock markets experienced a decline on Wednesday, with the pan-European STOXX 600 index dropping 0.4% to 646.84 points by 0810 GMT.

Meanwhile, Brent crude oil prices rose close to the $100-per-barrel mark amid renewed tensions in the Middle East.
