FireFly Metals Releases NI 43-101 Technical Report for Green Bay Copper-Gold Project
FireFly Metals Ltd (ASX, TSX: FFM) has released an independent Technical Report compliant with Canadian National Instrument NI 43-101 for its Green Bay Ming Mine Copper-Gold Project in Newfoundland, Canada. The report was made available on September 22, 2026, and contains only immaterial updates to capital expenditure figures relating to the expansion case scenario.
The updates do not affect the overall net present value calculation, which is a detail investors may view as reassuring given the scale of the resource. The Company confirmed it is not aware of any new information that would materially impact the original resource estimates.
The Green Bay project holds 60.2 Mt of Measured and Indicated Mineral Resources at 2.43% CuEq, with Inferred Mineral Resources of 23.5 Mt at 2.51% CuEq. The PEA outlined a pathway to produce 100 kt of copper per annum, described as high-grade, low-cost, and long-life.
The report was authorised for release by the Board of Directors and has been reviewed and approved for its scientific and technical content by Mr Juan Gutierrez, Group Chief Geologist at FireFly Metals and a Qualified Person under NI 43-101. Metal equivalent calculations used CIBC long-term mean commodity prices as at July 1, 2026.
