TotalEnergies and AMNI International have taken the Final Investment Decision (FID) on the $800 million Ima Gas Project, a long-delayed development in Nigeria.

The project, located across Oil Mining Leases (OMLs) 112 and 117 offshore near Bonny Island, is expected to produce approximately 350 MMscf/d of natural gas at plateau production.

TotalEnergies will operate the project with a 40% interest, while AMNI International holds the remaining 60%. First gas is targeted for 2028, which could add a significant new source of domestic gas supply and support Nigeria LNG's expansion plans.
